I get one of those "send this to x number of people blablabla" that say that you will hav to pay to use msn messenger and blabla and it say that it was mentioned on the principal page,but I cheked it and there is nothing like that,but still I want to be sure so I ask this here

A word of advice: If you get an email regarding Hotmail or MSN that has blatant spelling and grammar mistakes, a lack of images or font variation, and involves any third-person references to the author(s) (i.e. "Hey this is Mike and john the directors of MSN, ..."), you can probably safely disregard it.

I fail to grasp how people who seem otherwise intelligent seem to have thier brain switched off by such mails. Tell me this. If hotmail wanted to mail everyone, why would they only send out a few mails with "Send to everyone" messages on it, rather than hit the big red "Send to all hotmail accounts" button?

Same with virus warning mails. A while back, the principle of my gfs college forwarded such a warning to the entire college. I don't have it still, but it was something like "This virus will delete all your dll's and format your hard drive". What sort of spacking idiot would fall for that? and this woman was in charge of an educational establishment.
