Weak points on armoured vehicles?

Anyone know where they are?
I find myself getting into quite a few one on ones where we both just sit there blasting at each other in APCs or tanks, and whoever got the first shot in wins. But surely there are weak spots.

The front and sides of tanks/APCs are the strongest, so you need to go around and fire your rockets into the the back

I think the tops of the apcs are weak as well

Top and back, I think in the back you can een destroy a tank in two shots form tank or anti-tank missle.

Only one thing why is it that the MEC anti-tank can't guide his missles and the USMC can.

:hmph: Not this again. You can guide both the US and MEC anti-tank missles.

Back, always. If you have to hit the side of a tank, make it as close to the back as possible to maximize damage.

Well I just went into a game, and swerved the missle right and then left again. But yeah, I guess everyone elses game is broken and yours works.

In real life the top is the weakest, but in this game the sides are back are the weakest. Never expose your back, and always shoot at theirs.

The Anti-tank missles are wire guided like the ones in Half-Life 2, so are the APC missles.

No you can't

Right click to go into zoom mode, then hold left mouse to fire and then steer the missile.

You have to hold down the fire button, once you let go it just keeps going straight

top of the tank, Back, and the weakest point is the space between the turret and the main tank (it's unarmored), however getting a rocket in there (even with good aim) can be pretty random.

Two different rounds - one fired straight, the other fired at the point where the first impacted, then moved with the laser-guiding on the mouse.

You have to hit a tank 4-5 times in the front to destroy it. From the back or the side, it takes three. Hitting on the top, I dunno.

You're right, you can guide them. The reason why I thought you couldn't was because I never held the mouse down, I juct clicked. Now woth the USMC anti-tank even after you let go you had a few seconds to guide it, and then he would reload, with the MEC, he reloads immidietly.
