Hiya, I'm pretty experienced modeler/texturer/animator but I haven't learned how to get my work into HL2 yet- which would be pretty important to do I guess!
Anyway my main problem is I use maya which is a pain 'cause it's not compatible with anything. I'm looking to make first person weapon animations- anyone know where I could find some info on how to get animations from maya into the source engine?
Or some kind of maya-source workflow. I've also got access and working knowledge of 3DSM but only in modeling.
I've seen one tutorial for static meshes- but the exporter tool isn't compatible with the version of maya that I have.
