weapons on css

im making a map based on a solider of fortune 2 map where u stared off with a pistol and the guns would b planted all around the map. but i cant seem to place guns that u can pick up. i have heard of info_player_equip but that doesnt seem to exist and also i have heard that u type in weapon_scout for a scout but i type that into the entity box and then it just puts a water lod control into the map does anyone know how to place weapons for css. sorry i have a punctuation problem.
 
The last hammer update disabled weapon entities, they now disappear after a couple seconds or cause crashes.
 
so it is impossible to put weapons that u can pick up i nthe game?
is it possible to put more than one buy zone in the game coz i was planning on spawnig everyone i nrandom places in the map

Its possible to put buyzone everywhere.......it just depends on where the brushes of func_buyzone cover........
 
how do maps like fy_iceworld work? they have weapons scattered around the ground at spawn. is it now impossible to create maps like that?
