Weaponstrip and dropping weapons

I'd like to use the weaponstrip feature to strip the weapons from someone when they go through a teleporter, but I'd like the game to drop that player's weapon inventory into the level, like what happens when a player dies.

I haven't figured out how to generate a weapon, let alone figure out how to get that players inventory to generate....
 
I'm thinking something as complicated as that involves some code alterations, as no map entities actually reference what's actually inside an inventory - they simply clear them.

Well, it's kinda looking that way. i'm certainly not capable of coding so I'll have to fudge it or drop the idea completely.

I'll have to figure out how to generate weapons based on a trigger though.
 
That's easy. Use a monstermaker, but put the name of a weapon into it's 'type' slot. Like 'weapon_glock'. It should, in theory, work.

Yeah, that thought passed through my mind while I was typing. I'll have to try it when I get home. Might have to turn off the SmartEdit though.
