Ok, first question, what would happen if i set a 3-d detailed model of the inside of a combine helmet about 2 inches from the players perpective. The helmet would have clear glass for the eyes, but would it render correctly?
Basically what i am trying to do is make a segment in my mod where the player would be part of the combine. I would like the player to be looking out of the mask, with certain visual effects like night vission, thermal vission, ect being rendered through the glass in the helmet.
I could see some obviouse problems, one being that in reality, the eyes would not see through the two holes, they would see through one. (take your hands, make "ok" thingys with the finders, and put them with your thumbs touching each other infront of your eyes, and you will see what i mean.)
ect ect, jsut tell me, is it possible?
