Lately, I've been getting into web comics.

Hours would fly as I weed through the bad and terribles until I stumble upon a golden one that would captivate me for many days.

I can't possibly imagine the number of hours I've spent recently reading/looking for web comics, so I thought I would share some that I found to be of interest.

Now, I know it to be purely opinionated as to what I enjoy, but I hope others find some entertainment in them as well.

http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/

Good old penny arcade, topics vary depending on suggestions, gaming industry, hot topics, etc.

http://www.lfgcomic.com/

Comic loosely based off the WoW series, but now a life of its own. Follows Several key characters of varying races.

http://www.thezombiehunters.com/

Standard post outbreak of zombies, survivors living in the fringe, scrapping together an existence. Zombies zombies and moar zombies, I can't get enough of em.

http://www.everydaydecay.com//archive_page.php?comicID=11

Story of mere two survivors living in a town, every day decay, as the title implies. Not as well made as The Zombie Hunters, but zombie is zombie I suppose! More the better!

http://megatokyo.com/index.php

Gaming fanatic and a anime geek stuck in Japan, discovering things in life beyond their totally obsessive hobbies. While I have never been fond of anime, mangas, and the sorts, the gaming culture portrayed simply and utterly captivates me.

http://dreamwalkerchronicles.smackjeeves.com/comics/

The oddest sort of my collection I've listed. Follows a teenage boy and the mysterious box head boy. Heavy Native American influences (think Prey the game minus aliens).

http://www.vgcats.com/

Very similar to penny arcade in its general following of hot topics, and the gaming industry in general. Features cats as the characters as name implies.

All the comics above are roughly updated weekly.

Though I provided a very brief introduction to the comics, it is worth reading at least several pages to see if your interest lingers in any of them.

Feel free to share and discuss!

Not too fond of the CTR ALT DEL.

Jokes often are lame and overused =/

I read:

Dr. McNinja
xkcd
Penny Arcade
Dinosaur Comic

I live by Nothing Nice to Say

http://www.mitchclem.com/nothingnice/

The last few posts have been very slow as he updates a seperate comic and is also busy working on AWESOME record covers, all of which can be found in the blog section, but there's plenty of stuff in the archieves to keep you busy. Fantastic comic if you're a fan of punk, though I guess it's even better if you loathe it also... hmm.

Only into Penny Arcade these days. And I didn't need Yahtzee to point out that they suck.

Still following Penny-Arcade, but I can add, hmmm... Octopus Pie to the list already here.

I read a few of the ones already mentioned plus:

Digger by Ursula Vernon
FreakAngels
The Gods of ArrKelaan
Atland

Order of the Stick
Dueling Analogs
Cyanide and Happiness
VG Cats
Buttersafe

not sure if bob and george really counts, because it's a sprite comic and it finished a while ago.

I stopped reading xkcd a long time ago. It just ceased to be funny to me anymore, although I never really found it to be incredibly funny in the first place.

I also mostly stopped reading Dinosaur Comics although I check it out once in a while.

However, I do still read and enjoy...

Nedroid Comics
Daisy Owl
Buttersafe
Pictures for Sad Children (and Goodbye Foom)

...and old reruns of Calvin and Hobbes. Except that's not a webcomic. It's still better than any other comic though.

xkcd
The Adventures of Dr McNinja
Gunnerkrigg Court

That's all I'm really reading currently.

LFG is a big waste of time. Went from sort-of ok character humour to some epic high fantasy snoozeness very slowly, and by the time you realise it you've read 3 years of comics. Ugh.

PA for funniness.
xkcd for cleverness.
QC for drama and occasional funniness.
SMBC when I'm bored.

I laugh at VGCats being "roughly updated weekly"
Here's my list:

Penny-Arcade
xkcd
Dinosaur Comics
Ctrl-Alt-Delete
PVP

I read Penny Arcade, XKCD, and VG Cats on a regular basis. On a less regular basis I read LFG, Gunnerkrigg Court, PVP, PBF until he stopped updating, and Lego Robot.

A man of outstanding taste!

There's really no point in reading xkcd anymore, since he's already made the best one. Oh god, look at the dig at Ayn Rand fans in the alt text. It's so god damned perfect.

Anyway. Hark! A Vagrant.

You beat me to it. Hark A Vagrant is ace.

I present to you, Three Word Phrase

also, Ctrl+Alt+Delete sucks and Tim Buckley is a pedo, just like Lego Robot is. Although you gotta give Buckley credit for being the first lame unfunny webcomic "artist" to be a pedo.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, since no one has mentioned it yet. The Book of Biff, as well.

The Meek
Castle Vidcons
Last Place Comics
Electric Retard

These are my regulars:

A Softer World
Amazing Super Powers
Girls With Slingshots
Gunshow
Hark! A Vagrant
Overcompensating / Wigu
Penny Arcade
Pictures for Sad Children
Questionable Content
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal
Starslip
Three Panel Soul
White Ninja
xkcd

I don't read any webcomics.
Might start checking out some of these though.

The dreamwalker chronicles one was my favourite. I like the style of the drawings in it.
