Furries are scary.
Especially the ones fantasizing about being swallowed whole.

Very weird, I'll admit, but many aren't like that. The news sites just choose the most disturbing ones to comment upon (Shock! Horror!). Most I've seen are more or less just uberfans of Wind in the Willows and Redwall.

Most furries can't even define what a furry is. Most don't actually think that they are animals, for instance.

That forum *is* kinda depressing, though

Ehh. I'm ranting.

Seeya.

Something Awful: Your one stop shop for disturbing your mind.

Weird it may be , but if it floats their boat then fine. Im not one for making fun of people unless they are total assholes.

So true.... hence me not clicking on that :P

EDIT: I agree with Dimitri.... it's fair enough if they want to do it.

I think it's making fun of how the internet became a place for perverts and weirdos rather then furries themselves.

Hmmm... I say it's not right to deride them if no one's being harmed. Though I think it could be psychologically harmful to the *really* hardcore furry roleplayers. Like those people who think that they are werewolves.

You dont have to show your face or face consequences thus prevs + assholes galore.

Furries can be good business. A mate of mine in California has a knack for doing humanoid animals as designs and models. We made a joke one day about how he should make Furry costumes.. He's now making a good living doing commissions to design and build them. He said its not really the kind of job you'd put on a Resume but he's never complained about the money he makes, bought him a nice house, flash car, paid off his student debts, allowed him to do a bit of traveling (to study wildlife, atleast thats what the traveling is for if anyone asks about business expenses ;)). Only takes him a few days max per design, can knock out a few costumes per week, works from home, materials don't cost much from the right supplier. Regular work - cause for some reason I don't want to go into, the costumes get worn out quickly haha.

So yeah, Furries ain't all bad, not when it comes to their wallets :D

Yeah... some of those costumes... <shudders>

That's the part that I think is *really* sad. Most other things about them are fine.
