Weird desplay problem

Im having some really weird desplay problem which has only just started out of the blue. Basicly some colours on my moniter are just totaly screwed up. For instance the grey on these fourms has loads of flickering red pixiles in, when i press the "Auto" button on my moniter all goes back to to normal for a few seconds but then it goes back to the dodgy red. I dont think its the moniter because it does go back to the proper colurs but then switches back. Also games and other applications are getting the same on certin shades of colors. Any help would really help!

Check all the documentation and read-me's for your monitor.

Also visit the manufacturers site and see if any updates may be available for it.

Other than that it may just be your monitor is on the blink.

how old is the monitor it could be dieing

Start up in Safemode and see if it does the same thing (F8 before booting into windows).
