Weird Hacks

Okay, I dont know if these are hacks or not but people kept saying that they were. In CS:S earlier I was playing cs_office and there was checker-board like blood squirting out of this guy. Then there was sparks following this other guy, there was little clouds of smoke, and I dont know what the other one was but it was weird. There might've been some more in some other maps that I missed and wasnt there too see. But the stuff only followed the CT's or T's. I dont know if it was just the admin playing a trick on us or something but I dont know any commands that would make this kind've stuff unless there was a new mini mod thing that came out a couple of hours ago and they downloaded it. And it also made you lag really bad when it was following you. Its Really weird stuff, has anyone seen this hack before?

The skulls can be done with impulse 200, so either it was an admin or a hacker who managed to get sv_cheats 1 on.

I was playing earlier today and all of a sudden there were skulls and this weird purple rain following this one dude and the person who killed the guy who was infected would then be infected themselves.

Edit - Yes, it's a hack. It was fixed by a patch, but if servers haven't restarted it still works

I had the same thing yesterday. The admin said the graphics of the server were bugged and he had to restart the server. After he did that, the weird things were gone. So it might be a bug.

It isnt a hack, it was an exploit some noob over at ***** found. I had a little go it was pretty funny =P

The command was something like

te 10 bubbles. ect in console. Didnt ned sv_cheats set to 1 either. They patched it the next day. But it was pretty fun while it lasted!

yeah i saw the skulls the other day - i was dead but still the lag was bad when i viewed the area so if it happened while playing it would have been my death!

I just had something in HL2DM........constant explosions everywhere and streams of skulls spawning.............ragdolls being blasted about everywhere.

Most distracting when you are trying to practice.
