Hello, I was wondering, I've had a problem with an icon or two suddenly going low-res on me for no apparent reason. Though it's not really a big deal or anything, but after canceling an Update from Microsoft Update and turning off automatic updates, the automatic update icon in the control panel suddenly went low-res. Something similar to this happened before to my desktop recycle bin. Except that time, the entire icon was replaced with some extremely archaic, Windows 3.1 looking recycle bin that wasn't even in the list of icons.(it was oval/cylindrical shaped, probably 8-bit colors, and extrememly low-res) I fixed that weird icon already however and can't remember how I did it. I wish I would've saved that as a .gif and uploaded it. I wanted to know where the heck it came from. Anyways, this current icon problem isn't quite as dramatic, as only it's resolution seems to be lowered considerably. Not sure if canceling that Microsoft Update had anything to do with it either, I'm just connecting dots really. Any suggestions? EDIT< Also if I could just remove the icon with another, then relpace the original, it would be fixed. Problem is, Windows won't let you edit the original source icons that are within the Control Panel, unless it's to create a desktop shortcut. Any way around this?
