weird performance for a good rig

i heard others say that they have that and its the same cooler as the 7800gtx 512 guess dell wanted better cooling on them

also benchies dont really matter as long as games play fine who cares

Hi again while testing things out HT on and off and some other things i tried is to disable my mcafee virus and firewall...
And it turned out a little better in 3dmark05 => click
It has a little improvement which I'm very happy with and I also stress tested the game F.E.A.R. here are the results...

F.E.A.R. video stress test:

computer advanced settings: everything high, everything on
video card advanced settings: everything high, no aa/af, soft shadows on, volumetric light on
triliniar filtering, resolution 1024x768

Any comments?

F.E.A.R. is indeed very intensive. Particularly shadows take a big hit on FPS. (I played F.E.A.R. with those same settings, but on medium shadows and 800X600. I only got 36 FPS at max (Running on a Radeon 9600 XT)

You've got the triple of my performance, with shadows on max.

I mean how did you get this card? I'm really interested to know by how please tell me. You got the most expensive top of the line Invidia or any card for that matter and you're saying your 7800GTX doesn't look like the other 7800 GTX? No Shit.

tell him guys give to him as it is that, this card was not designed for freaking Dell, you need ASUS to go with it SLI Deluxe to be exact.
If you're really serious about investing that kind of cash for personal PC component its much much better to assemble the PC yourself, save half the price of the crap they put together for you and build a PC that's Twice powerful than Dell for half the price. Don't buy these "Model Ts" out there they call computers.
Or you could go out there and buy from them serious PC makers like Alienware.
I bet the reason you cant get a decent Frames is that there must be bottle-neck in your MOBO and not that card I can almost bet money on that.
I'm gonna ask a simple question Y is every so called powerful PCs out there that will cost you thousands have a 350W PSU?

And I have to ask, how is it that you get to troll out PC tech "advice" (Read eliteism) when you think that the only systemboard you can use with a 7800gtx is the asus SLI deluxe. There are many other SLI boards out there that are as good if not better, and come to that, you do not need an SLI board for a single card.

Checked the dell forum and my conclusion is dell is bad at test marking and extreme fps like self build pc's do.

and after looking to that Hard OCP evaluation its true that this machine isnt for the hardcore gamers. I think its a great computer but thats my opinion just the weird performance for a good card.
