Weird Problems since HL2 Installation

Hi,

i installed HL2 yesterday. Everything works fine, i didnt have any problems with Half-Life 2 or Counter-Strike Source.

But now my Counterstrike 1.6 does strange things. EVERY Screenshot looks like

I didnt use any cheats in my life, and there was never any cheatlike thing in my steam folder.

I already testet several graphic card drivers and i re-installed Steam including Half-Life 2 and Counterstrike 1.6.

Does anyone have an idea what this should be ?

Almost looks like a refresh rate problem.
Like when you set your monitor to a higher refresh rate than it can handle.
Try checking what refresh rate you have set in the display properties, monitor settings, About 85hz is about right for most modern CRT's for anything upto 1600*1200.
If you have a TFT, they generally default to 60hz, since they don't refresh the same way as a crt monitor.
Or it could be a heat problem, but I'd go for my first observation, refresh rate.
