Weird refresh line problem

I just downloaded the Trackmania demo (sweet game! :thumbs: ), but it doesnt run too well. The game runs smooth for the most part, but kinda not, there are constant little jumps, hard to notice...and when youll spin in circles you can see sort of a 'refresh' line goign down the screen. Anyone know if there is a way to fix this?

Can someone DL the demo w/ a radeon card and tell me if they have the same problem? Thanks

It's a graphic tear...
The fix is to enable Vsync.
It has nothing to do with the game, your brand/model of graphics card or drivers.

It is in the middle of refreshing your Monitor when the jump from one frame to the next is a large difference.
Basicly, when your frames do not sync with the refresh rate it can cause that lovely effect.
I used to get it all the time back in the day when I played CS and I wipped around to look behind me.
