Weird Screen Clipping, Help Please

I have a 19" LCD monitor which supports 1280x1024 resolution. The problem is when I run HL2 in 1280x1024 LCD resolution, I get weird clippings in the screen. What I mean, for example is that my ammo count can be in middle-right, and half cut off. The aux power screen is on top-left and can't see the whole thing. Any ideas? Everything else works fine though, even CS.

That happens sometimes when you change resolution, restarting HL2 should fix it.
