California Gov. Candidate Proposes "Pedophile Island"?

As governor I will introduce legislation to impose mandatory expulsion of convicted pedophiles from the State of California as a condition of release from prison.

Pedophiles in the State of California will have three (3) choices:


1. Leave our State of California permanently;

2. Live on Santa Rosa Island (a self supporting community for pedophiles and sexual offenders)

3. Remain in prison for life;

I don't see anything on Santa Rosa Island wikipedia page about pedophiles or sex offenders... so are they just going to force such a thing on the Island?

Also... what the hell do you expect self supporting community to do? They'll have kids... you won't be able to force them not to... and then you end up in a situation where the island has to be policed to prevent abuse if anybody has children.

It's a stupid idea on many levels.

Uhhhhhhh.... no you can't. Being a good parent, while excellent, does not give you the ability to force somebody who has served their sentence from leaving the state. Sex offender registration is one thing... this is entirely different.

Haha, I kinda liked the guy in the ad from the OP. Wouldn't vote for him of course, but I kinda like him :-P . I think it's the cheesiness of the jump cuts that makes it endearing.
