The Landover Baptist Church site is basically a parody of funny things about Christianity. (in other words, everything)

I don't know if this is real, but I actualy saw people doing this on EQ when I played it. Only played it for around 3 months, but those people got annoying fast. Even though I am christian...

Edit: I didn't actualy go to the site, so I'm guessing this is fake.
 
Meh, I remember there used to a God's Light Pirates or something playing Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates. I think one of them asked me why I wore a turban if I Christian (my pirate wears a turban), and she got a little confused when I said I wasn't a Christian.

Harr, I hunted them down and pillaged them after that!

Ahaha, that would have been great. It shows how much potential these games have. Eventually, if it were real (maybe still, even though it is fake), they could have gone on crusades and stuff. That would have been cool. I'd like to take part in games like this, but just hearing about the complexities that grow is really cool. When people really start to play and get a structure going, it really becomes something great.

I hope that wasn't a pop against paganism, because if it is, I hope you know exactly what it's about before you make fun of it. Paganism is the most misunderstood religion in the world because of Christianity and Buffy.

I'm not pagan, but I have relatives who are. I just don't like it being slammed for being about something it isn't.

Sorry if that was an innocent comment though, I just really have a thing against it.
 
sorry if i offended you, just replace paganism with "islam/antichrist/buddhist/whatever other religion there is" and it should be okay =)

iirc paganism is about nature/animal worship yes? its been quite a while since i read something about the group.

on another note i dislike any form of religion whatever it is =D

yes I did, didnt get a chance to play till yesterday but I'll send you an in-game email tonight, hopefullY you've reached at least level 10 so that I can make you some armor ...see right now ...I'm kinda lost on the other continent :) I hope to come back to darnassus tonight after I finish my quest .....man azeroth is freakin' huge!!! I'm lost somewhere near stormwind (human capital) ...saw a couple of trolls in the dwarven city of Ironforge (I was literaly awestruck the first time I got there) ..in the tram area ...I asked for directions (not realising they were trolls) and ..they turned around and killed me :E

Ah, I switched races. I ended up deciding I didn't like my night elf so did a human instead. It was hard to decide what to be. So many of the classes/races look like fun.
 
yes ...hehe when i met my first human I thought he was a dwarf ..so short ..but then I met a dwarf ...man he's reallly short, but then I saw a gnome! even shorter!

what class are you? I really like being a rogue stealth mode is awesome
 
Human Palidan. I also have a lower level undead warlock. The palidan is certainly easier to use, but I still can't decide which one I like better.

Rogues do look like a lot of fun too though. I also thought of doing a shaman just because they seemed somewhat unusual.....ack too many choices.
 
heh I think I'll be a troll next time around ...I dont know, I only have one character ..I see him as a representation of me, so I'd like to finish with him ..err me

but since you're a paladin you have no use for leather armor ..damn I'm pretty high in leatherworking

Speaking of that...how did you decide what professions to do? I still haven't trained in one as I can't figure out what would be best. I had wanted to do enchanting but after reading up on it it seems like way too much work. So right now I'm thinking about mining/blacksmith possibly....but I don't know.
 
oh definately blacksmithing/mining for you: you can make your own armor which is often much better/cheaper than buying it
 
They must be playing on a role-playing realm and just having fun with it, they're probably not serious.

Although, you never know, the power of jebus may corrupt them and turn them serious.

It's just sounding like you WANT this to be true just so there's a reason to bash Christians ;o. (Not specifically aimed at you but more or less a whole group of people)

Just kinda funny seeing all the bashing going on, when it never was provoked and was actually the fault of a group that was formed to.. bash.

i dont think he wanted to bash christians, just the idea of preaching on a game is damn stupid.

as MurderScene pointed out, I was just pointing out that it was nutty ...btw I dont lump all christian groups together, why would you? I mean these people are not equal to this person
