Well I finally did it..

Yep, I preordered Hl2 when I wasn't going to. I have only once pre ordered a game and that was zelda for the n64. Before they wouldnt even let me pre pay for it, but this time I did it at EB and they said I could pay when I wanted, all up front or some now and the rest when it came in, it was really cool. Now when I asked when it came in (yea I know all you guys know that all they say is bullshit and everyone gives different dates)he said oct 17 which is pretty close to sept 30 not the november or "holiday" crap everyone else says *cough* gamestop *cough* he said that they did for a little bit get the nov 30 date but it got pushed back a couple of days BUT not like one and a half months or some crap like that.

Well anyways I DO have faith in Valve and they WILL make there sept 30 date but I think it will go like this: valve sends off there gold edition off before sept 30 to be pressed, burned, whatever then its out of valves hands and into Vivendi's hands so they dont have to worry about there contract stating they cant sell it on steam before Viv gets there hands on it to ship. Then they simply spit it out on steam the minute sept 30 hits (well atleast "activate it" since I know there precaching hl2 on steam before hand to decrease load)and errr that is that.

(I know you guys discuss this to death on the these forums but I just thought I'd post and say YES I preordered it too hehe)
