Great Job! I am going to get the same stuff except with out all the accessories. Isn't the FX-55 suppose to come out soon? Or should I just go with the FX-53. Congrats on the Buy, I should get the FX-53 939 while is still can on newegg. Have fun with your comp, before to post results and benchmarks :cheers: .

Thanks lucid. The FX-55 is a while i think, and either way not too much of a performance gain from what I've read about it. If you don't feel like waiting a month or two go with the fx-53 939 now. I mean seriously the processor is already an overkill, so idk how long you feel like waiting.
 
You spent $800 on a processor and bought a $5 keyboard? lol :D

lmao its a sexy looking keyboard. plus its got exactly what i want - basic keys. i dont need stupid volume controls and email and web browsing shit i never use. its a sexy black/silver two tone with basic keys. :E
 
I expect the FX55 to be out in the Fall actually.

why did you get mx300 instead of mx510?

good processor and all but i would have atleast waited 1 week to see how the 9 new intel chips(which support ddr2 and pci-e) fair against the $800 bohemoth you bought.

i mean your spending 800 on a proccy alone, 1 weeks would do nothing.

whatever its your money. nice machine (if not a bit excessive)

its a good choice. the mouse is the best for competitive gaming because its smaller, you have more control to do quick movements :imu:
 
intel doesnt match up in any way with gaming as amd. the fx53 is superior for gaming and most applications (except encoding). the 9 new intel chips, according to th, are crap. well not crap but blatantly not as good as the opteron/fx line. however they do enhance many aspects of their current chips
