I bought the pc Halo version last week because I dont have a console system, and I must say that on the high side, it does have some great battles that put you in the thick of it, one expecially comes to mind is the silent cartographer level where the cutscene has your ship and many others about to land on the beach and you can see out the bay doors that the enemy is fighting down there and you get put right in the thick of it, good stuff and of course the very end was a tense moment that was pretty cool.
On the negative side is flat out the repetitious levels and backtracking too much, Bungies argument was "but it would only be 5 levels long if we kept everything different", well I say SO what, I would rather have a awesome short experience rather then a long dragged out crappy one.
overall, not a bad game.
Now for halo2...will it be more fun then halflife2?? I doubt it and the proof is in the reviews for it....
