well New MGS game will come to next-gen

computer & video games in its site put a news that MGS 4 will coming for the next-gen

and this is a quote from it

" Solid Snake mastermind Hideo Kojima has confirmed that work is shortly to begin on Metal Gear Solid 4.
Speaking to press at Konami's European launch event for Metal Gear Solid 3, currently underway in Berlin, Germany, Kojima-san revealed that Metal Gear Solid 4 "will be a next-generation title" and went on to say that number four will kick off a brand new series featuring Solid Snake.

Although Kojima-san was giving away few extra details, he did let slip that the concept of Metal Gear Solid 4 will be "No place to hide". He also quipped that there would be "No place for Hideo". He plans to tack a step back and assume the role of executive producer on MGS 4, meaning he won't be as hands-on with the sequel as he was with Metal Gear Solid 3.

Stepping in as producer on Metal Gear Solid 4 is Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi. "We'll be taking it [MGS 4] to the next-gen and we want to feature a fresh, intriguing storyline and gameplay plus captivating graphics and more features while remaining true to the core of the MGS series - remaining Solid. We hope you'll enjoy," Imaizumi-san told an excited press gathering at Konami's event. "

well it's great and too bad in the same time
because they will not continue the story of solid snake ( mgs2 )

I hope MGS Acid continue it

Sounds like they'll be taken a even more action oriented direction now :p

I surely hope that ain't the truth, the stealth aspect is the entire part of MGS, sadly it has become alot more action oriented since the NES games imo :p

Albeit you could say they're from a different series since they're just named MG...

MGA doesn't continued the Solid SNake story, I saw the summary posted here a few weeks ago, apparently the dude that looks just like Snake doesn't even share his name.:)

OMG YESS! well i;m buying a PS 3 no matter what now. MGS was the main reason for me to buy a PS2 :D
 
I'm buying a PS3 if the price ain't too high, which I suspect it might be seeing as the PS3 is designed to be able to interact with other electric hardware in your household via the cell chip :p

yeah i remember the e3 when mgs2 was unveiled and it blew the audiences away,i see the same 4 mgs4
 
Actually for me it would have been better if they ended the solid snake stories, I mean I like them, but it would be best if mgs3 was the conclusion. Lets have new character, it would give more flexibility to the new producer and director, more their own imput. Otherwise we might get dissapointed just like with MGS:TTS, you know the backflippin snake was just not the snake we knew.
 
Oh, I'm sure they've got some weird twist up their sleeves, as always. I doubt this is gonna be the same old game.

hmmm...i;m not sure about changing snake...i mean look what happened with raiden but then again snake is gettin old.
 
just finish the story from 1 & 2 for godsake. Its like watching a movie, or reading a book and something happens were you cant finish watching / reading the last bit of the story. I need closure lol.
 
MGS must continue forever! I'm happy to be back in Solid Snake's shoes this time. Big Boss was cool. Raiden was...eh (MGS2 still ruled though). We gotta hear what's the deal with the Patriots.
 
I hope they port Metal Gear Solid 3 to the PC.
I also hope that they do the same to Metal Gear Solid 4.
 
Im really into the basic story line behind 1&2, I loved 1. But 2 did not rule come on. The main character was anoying, and the game was hugely unrealistic. (a vampire, and he runs on water, liquid talking through an arm)

I agree with you about the patriots though, I want to know what they are who they are.
 
MGS has been many things...realistic isn't one of them. Unless you you've met someone like Psycho Mantis. :D
Raiden was annoying, but I found him funny-annoying (some hilarious lines in there, unintentionally). He's made up for by a seriously cool look at Snake himself.

BTW I thought mgs3 allredy finished the mgs story, even though it was a precuel. Just tell me yes or no, don't tell any details and spoil it for me.

And MGS1 had Psycho Mantis. If you don't like unrealistic elements...Don't pick up MGS3 :| It's always been a part of the MGS games.

I have played and beaten mgs3, somehow it didnt bother me as much 2. I guess my expectations were lower. ALso unless I missed something 3 doesnt really contribute much to awnsering questions left by 1 & 2.

Yes 1 had phsyco mantis, but it stil was no where near as fake as 2. Running on water, Vampires, vampires walking in daylight, MAN TALKS THROUGH AN ARM. At any rate lets just agree that all 3 games were above average overall. We all like the games atleast, no point in bickering of this little stuff.

he didn;t talk through through his arm, liquids sprit from the arm took him over
 
Yeah, the arm contained liquids genes, these "took" over Ocelot from time to time.

why everybody hate raiden?
I never played MGS2 but I watch it lot of times and raiden looks cool,and I dont think he looks gay even if its body is very feminist,raiden looks like a normal anime character

and what that article was trying to prove?
 
yeah that second site is amazing,how deep the story becomes when you read the articles there
 
Raiden wasn't overly homosexual...but he certainly was a step down from Snake. Maybe if he didn't wear that skin-tight skull suit and opted for more badass gear like Snake's (seriously though...that skull suit is practically sprayed-on).

Yes and no. Solid snakes story is summed up preatty well, but not the patriots. And what the hell do you mean "Don't spoil it for you"? I thought of all people, you would be the first to get that game. I'm ashamed of you.

Anyway, this is great news. I know what next gen console I'm buying now. Oh man, I really love this news. As someone already said, MGS must live on forever.
 
mgs3 TODAY,YEAH!!im so excited,goin out now to get it,im more psyched than when hl2 came out probably coz mgs is my fav ever series and i've played all the games,only a half hour left after 3 years waiting,woot!!!!!!!
