Graduated from Full Sail University today! Got me a bachelor of science degree in computer animation. I spent two years, year round, in a 24/7 school (ie: classes could be at 5am/ 9pm or any other time) with the biggest break being 2 weeks for Christmas. Its been a hell of a ride, but I finally finished. Now I need to worry about where i'll even live in the next few months and fret over how i'll ever pay off my debt. Whoo!

That's real nice, I might do computer animation too but I don't know for sure yet.
 
Congratz! didnt know you where into that stuff. What kind of animation did you learn? Everything from simple 2D to stunning 3D animations?

We had a few 2D animation classes, but most of it was 3D. I actually specialized in Character modeling and texturing, so actual animation isnt really what im into. Though I still really like it.

Any idea where you might be going with your bachelor's now?

Your not really leaving HL2.net though are you? Now that your gonna be busy finding your place in life and all.

BTW: I have almost a full year to go. :(
 
I should be graduating May 21st actually with an Associates in Welding. Had an interview on Friday with a company and they treated me like a god. They must have been really impressd by my welding. I thought it was just an interview too so I was welding in nice clothes and nice shoes. :LOL: It was a clean welding process and shop though plus they lended me the welding helmet, leathers, etc. It's near me and a bunch of Cambodians work there but they are always funny as hell. So the guy most likely will give me like $20 an hour with paid college in the future with tons of benefits. I would be welding mixing tanks and heat exchangers costing big bucks. I'm only 20 years old too and I'm just astonished at it all. Since my monitor broke a week ago my life has just like improved to such an extent and sped up. Kind of a shame I'm getting the monitor back from the RMA. I wanna make a thread on welding when I get my monitor back too.
 
Didn't even know you were in Uni actually and know you're finished? Cool, how old are you? Plans to do a masters or anything?

Im 21, and no, dont plan on getting a masters. Seems kinda pointless in this industry unless I want to start my own studio.
