LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - An employee of the Comedy Central program "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" has committed suicide, leading the network to suspend production of Monday night's episode of the program, a spokesman confirmed.

Wicked gay. :(

eh dude that sucks, i mean about the dead guy and the show being canceled. i can see why they'd postpone it though

Damn, that's awful. Suicide is one of the few things I have trouble making light of.

Woah, I skimmed over it really quick and thought Jon Stewart had committed suicide.

Sad stuff. It's hard to imagine that life would be that bad to kill yourself. :(

Especially if you work on the Daily Show.

Yeah. I thought Jon Stewart committed suicide, too, after just glancing through.

Wow. Crazy stuff. ;(

"Comedy Central has sent grief counselors to the "Daily Show" set to help its employees"

I'm interested to see how this turns out...

Funny how an emo kid commits suicide and everybody laughs, but a 'normal' person commits suicide and everybody mourns (quite rightly so. It's pretty tragic).

And thus the Internet ****wad Theory gains momentum. But seriously, what?

They were both not smart for commiting suicide, because there is always a way out. But we know the story about the emo kid and how he craved attention while he had a successful school life, a girlfriend that loved him and a whole life ahead of him. This suicide seems to have a more grave reason attached to it. But I'll wait for more info.

In the mean time, I'll mourn for both, because loss of human life really sucks :(

I feel sympathy for the family, that's it.

He got what he wanted, he's dead now. Why should I feel bad?

Just remember folks:
Survival of the fittest got us to where we are today.
