I started with like... a letter or two.... I think it was M and O, I am not sure, in Illustrator. Twisted, tweaked, and distorted them. then put them together in a circlar/squralike thing, applied color, and some filters.... then moved it to Photoshop CS2, where I rastarized it at a high rez, then I just made a bunch of copies of the design on separate layers, each one rotated and 10% bigger... at which point I realized that the file is 300megs... so then i had this cool thingy... then I merged it... tweaked the color scheme... and applied radial and zoomin blur...
