what´s up with the orange bandages?

Now I´ve noticed one little thing on all HL2 videos that I thought that could be some what of a a spoiler. Everyone in the city-17 has orange bandages in their upper arms. Combines have them in the right arms and civilians(resistance) hv them in their left arms.
Also, the Combine hv numbers being Barney 14 and civilians only hv c17.
Ex.s:
Combine- c17:14
Civilians- c17
Now I´ve been thinking about it and it doesn´t it looks like if the City is a closen enviroment like the jew ghettos were everyone was numbered on tatoos.

P.S.-If this has already been posted I fully request to the MD´s to lock it down.

There are hundreds of movies where the Aliens mimic humans.. of course the most memorable are The Thing and The Bodysnatchers. But there's tons more out there. Oh and a variation was Westworld, only with robots looking like humans, apart from their hands being the only thing different.

You might be thinking of an episode of the Twilight Zone or Outer Limits, or even perversions of science, its a popular type of story

I'm curious though, why on earth would an invading alien race, who can mimic humans perfectly, put an orange dot on the other hand to the ones the humans put it on.. Wouldn't that be like having a sign above your head saying "I'm an alien I come in peace honest"

its wat the aliens did, like, they MIRRORED, the humans, which meant they were basically the same, not really, mimic'd. not like i came up with the story fenric . but when you mention it, im pretty certain it was The Outer Limits. i watched it a few times.
