What about WC3 for source???

This has probably been discussed 1000 times but what about WC3 for source??

Blizzard would never allow it, those that have tried got shut down, didn't ask for permission. Those that did ask were told no.

I can understand conversion of old classics like Goldeneye and the like, but wc3? That game is still relatively new, just buy it if you dont already have it.

I don't know any that were being made for Source.

Blizzard would only allow another Wc3, if it was based on one of there games.

Just like "Project Revolution" is a conversion of Sc to the Wc3 engine.

Why would u want the source engine with warcraft3, ones a fps the other is a rts.

Never played much 1.6 did u. Warcraft3 is a Counterstrike mod that added elements of warcraft3 such as experience points and spells/abilities.

yeah most ppl get this thread wrong... I loved wc3 mod in cs1.6 adds a little spice to the game :cheers:

I agree, I also like the superhero mod (worked the same way, but different abilities), made for a nice change

It can support the same as Amxx, it is released i think now, just not complete, i am sure people are trying to code it with new stuff, for wc3 and superheromod
