What are some games toget

Im building a new comp that'll be able to handle most of todays games. What are some games to get besides HL2 thatll allow me not to get bored and have fun playing, with a big mod community.

So far my list has

Maybe FARCRY just MAYBE

and thats about it what other games are worth getting that I can find kind of cheap.

Doom3, FarCry, and wait a bit for Bf2. RPG game to get is Guild Wars and RTS game to get is Warhammer40K: DoW.

Guild Wars possibly? You hardly ever play alone. It seems, though, that you're more into fps games, whereas Guild Wars is a hack and slash RPG-lite.

If you want an online game, from sheer reputation alone I'd say WoW. Hell, I would if my comp was good enough and I had the cash.
