While there is and always will be discussion as to which platform is more powerful, has better games, is a better value, etc., I don't think we've ever gotten an accurate number as to who owns what gaming platforms here on HL2.net. You can choose more than one, but only choose PC if yours is able to run most current games at a tolerable framerate. Try to keep the system bashing to a minimum, as this is simply out of curiosity. For me it's PC, PS3, and Wii.

I've had a PC with no graphics card for a year. I was able to use emulators, but didn't really have the time anyway.

But I just got a free PCI card and have installed some old games like Race Driver, Resident Evil 4 and Max Payne 2.

I'll get a good graphics card shortly so I can play some of the new games.

PC and a 360.

Roommate has a PS3, but I haven't touched it and he only plays R6: Vegas 2 on it. =\

Wii, Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, N64.

Haven't we had a thread like this recently?

PC, Wii, Xbox 360, PSP.

Haven't touched the Wii in a long time. Never used the PSP.

aging PC and original xbox :(

I'm getting a new PC in a few weeks though so I can finally finish HL2 with out it looking terrible. I don't know why you would bother with a console other than you can use it with friends, but it's a hell of a lot of money to spend for your friends.

PC and PS3.
I really only got the PS3 for the blu-ray though.

PC (med/high-end gaming rig). Had a 360 but sold it because it was essentially worthless. PS2 broke. N64 is the only console I still play much. Looking to pick up an old SNES off ebay.

I own everything but the DS, sold that about 3 months ago and glad I did. the most boring system i ever owned

PC, XBOX360, PS2, and old-school Playstation (which I don't use because I can't find the damn AC adapter right now). I'm thinking of picking up a PSP, haven't decided yet.

Everything but the PSP and i have a DS lite not a DSI

PC > PS3 > 360 > DS > Wii

I sold my PSP a while ago. But I have or have had all of those except a PS3.

also

ps3 has no gaemz

PC as sig and a PS3. Did have a 360 but sold it recently for the PS3.

A PC, a DS and a not-working Xbox 360.
Also had a Wii, but I sold it because of the lack of good games, and how extremely lazy they are developed.
A wii is not made for the type of gamers who play more than 1 hour per day.

PC and PS3

I also have access to a 360, psp and ds via my brother though. I'll also get a psp go when it comes out.

this, ****ing this!! Worst console I ever owned

PC. My flatmate has the consoles, but I rarely use them.

Wait, why is this a vote if you can have multiple? :/

Wii, PC and DS...
Brawl veteran.

PS3 and DS. My gaming PC died on my over a year ago and was pretty well aged anyway and that's the only reason I got a PS3. I was getting sick of dropping 4-500 hundred every few months upgrading my PC even though I vastly prefer to play games on a PC over a console. Although I definitely don't consider it a gaming device I have an Iphone and have been playing a few games on that as well.

This isn't to determine which platform is the best, because that's subjective. It's simply to get an idea of who owns what here on HL2.net.

Because people can own multiple gaming systems...
Exactly my point, one vote restriction, people can own more than one.

Not really a genuine tally if people own more than just one and cant vote more than once.

Fairly high end PC and PS3.
Thought about PSP... but nah.

All of them. Here is my enjoyment factor just in terms of gaming (and not internet fun :naughty:):

PS3>PC>DS>Wii>PSP>360

That's either a silly exaggeration or a silly upgrade cycle. I bought my PC 18 months ago and it still runs the newest games at a high res on high details.

It's a multiple choice poll, as in you can vote for more than one option.

When I used to buy low-end GFX cards (e.g. GeForce MXs), I experienced a similar upgrade cycle to be honest. It's a kind of false economy really. If you buy the top of the range stuff, it'll still be playing games years later. I got my Radeon 9800 Pro in mid-2003, and it still coped with the majority of releases in 2007. I can't honestly tell you the difference in Source between that and my new HD 4850. It's hard to be picky over such great graphics...

I got my GeForce 8800GT early last year and it's still doing me well. The cool part was it cost me $150. I have a feeling it will keep me going for at LEAST another year.

But on topic, PC, PS3, DS.

in my house: 2 xboxes, 1 xbox 360, 2 x pc, 2 DS lite. might get a Wii for my son's birthday

also my 360 red ringed over the weekend. I am not happy. microsoft hardware = crap
