Pretty crazy theory on why Dave Chapelle stopped doing his show. I don't think it's true, but it's interesting to read nonetheless. Would be a scary situation. So, what do you think?

I doubt that's totally true.

I've only seen parts of the new season he's doing, but I'm not really that impressed.

whatever the reason, its apparent that he quit the show abruptly. its obvious that they were filming the skits for the new season, and never got around to finishing them all, let alone got to the point where he would host them on the show, so the producers hired charley murphey and the other guy to host the skits that they had finished so far, and they called it "The Lost Episodes" which was really just "The Unfinished Season".

According to a stage hand, after the show, when Chappelle returned to his dressing room, he found a package containing pictures of Malcom X, Biggie Smalls, Tupac Shakur, and himself, with the words "You're Next" scrawled across his picture.

I've seen him interviewed on loads of shows like Conan O'Brien. He ran out of comedy juice, that's all.
