what do you think about Breed?

Pretty cool game, I played the demo ages ago and it was worth getting, allways wanted to see the multiplayer mode, I will most likley buy it, but dont dive on it the 1st day

to sum up Breed, think of what halo COULD of been if it was made for pc first.

yep, Breed looks to be pretty sweet (and it's from a UK developer so a major bonus). only thing is it could turn out to be a turd, so i'll wait for a few magazines (website reviews just don't cut it anymore). it will be what Halo wishes it could've been.

Is there anyway to get past that turret without being pulvarized after you crash land? I always slip by it with like 10% health and have to use all my med kits before I even get into battle. I also run out of machine gun ammo way too quickly and have to switch to those lousy alien weapons that suck ass at long distance shots.

The NEW* demo just released is ten times better then the old demo. Breed looks to be a very good game. I will probably end up getting it. I like those tyoe of games. I'd suggest downloading the NEW demo if you have not already.

Weak ass piece of shit game that tries to copy Halo.

And yes, I played the first beta release and the new demo.
Nothing special, and the voice acting is one of the worthless I have ever heard "Come on, Snake! Get to that waypo... MISSION FAILED!".

Well, they can always make the game better in the full version. But for now it's terrible IMHO.

Played the Beta demo, was really unstable.... but fun... I liked it, was really fun to roam about.. anyway... I agree that some of the voice acting is bad, but otherwise, looks like a top PC game, which will look great next to Halo

I tried to have fun playing it, really - but I honestly couldn't find any part of it that felt good, was innovative, etc. It felt like crap, looked like crap, ... and isn't even worth the time it takes to explain all the crappiness that is BREED. The demo is a waste of time and bandwidth, the full game is definately going to be a waste of money.

Nothing, I repeat - NOTHING is done well in this game.

I played most of the newer demo..and I didn't like it.

At first I thought it would be badass because we actually get to pilot the drop vehicle and such..but the flight mechanics weren't that great and it was nothing more than following the waypoints. We didn't get to land or anything...just a cutscene showing our weird landing.

The game got to be pretty boring for ground combat. It just seemed like encountering a group of breed and killing them. They didn't seem to have much AI encoded...they just stood there and shot.

The breed tank wasn't that great either. It moved way too slow and the segment was just too long...

I think there were some things they could've done to make Breed better...but as it looks right now...it doesn't seem that great to me.
