Hi Guys/Girls

I'm writing a review about the Half-Life 2 Engine and I want some "fan reviews" on what you think about the engine, and what you most like about it, what you don't.

I'm going to try and put as many comments as i can on a new growing HL2 community site.

So you've come to a new growing HL2 community site to collect comments?

Half-Life's engine is Source.

Its Physics Engine is Havok, not Havok 2. I don't know if any games are using havok 2 yet.

Anyways... the Source engine looks great. I haven't played the game though so I can't give you my full opinion on the engine. Its likely to kick ass knowing valve's track record for making kick ass stuff.

Maybe I'm dyslexic but this is how your message read to me.

Sorry to be harsh. But that's how it sounds.

Heheheh well, i gotta admit, that seems to be pretty accurate :O :)

Really?
I thougt the physics engine is havok2.
It seems to be the havok2 engine, because of the movements.
I think i should compare the havok2 vids with the hl2 vids.

The launch of Havok 2 has been a great success and real-time physics will be on display all over E3 this year, especially in the Half Life 2 'Source' engine. Drop by our meeting rooms in the Kentia hall at booth 7048 or contact us to set up a meeting at E3.

Incorrect, the physics engine is Havok 2. Heavily modified, though.
