What do you think of the Commies?

As many of you probably know...Comedy Central decided to put out their own award show called the Commies. It's airing right now and it's hosted by Andy Richter.

Personally...I don't take the awards very seriously. If I won one...sure I'd be happy...but not nearly as happy as if I won an Oscar or Emmy.

Some of the stuff they have done is funny...and some you can tell they tried too hard to be funny...

My impression right now... C+

I watched the first 17 minutes, and nothing very exciting happened yet, so Iwent to do what I was supposed to do (homework) and decided to catch the encore presentation. I don't think you can really take those seriously, at least not yet. Takes some years or reputation I think to make a serious award show of any kind, so I wouldn't wacth it for the awards, rather for teh funny, so yeah. theres my opinion so far.

I'll watch it later though so I can found my opinions on somehting.

oddly enough, i thought it was about the comedy central awards, b/c i'm watching it right now (well, it's a commercial right now). but i've only seen a bit. the musical number with the two black guys singing about "are you ****ing my lady?" was pretty funny. i'd say a solid B from what i've seen.
