Well, I saw it in a shop for 99,- now compared to the wacom tablets thats very cheap, but the wacom are probably so expensive for a reason. Now I'm a beginner, so does anyone think this is good enough to begin with and do some decent work. I have never used a tablet, so I have no idea what specification to look for or what kind of features are very handy.

erm, i was going to buy one of those, instead i went for a graphire 3 as sometihng to toy with

ur going to want to buy something thats going to last now i dont know about that brand but you know that a wacom will last for sure.
a wacom is about 25 buck or so more than that i think .

If you can afford a Wacom I'd go for that, but nowadays even cheaper tablets are pretty good.

If you're resolution is over 1024x768 do not buy an A6 sized one, trust me.

My rez is 1024x768. Anyway I watched on the wacom site,
an intuos3 A4 costs 375,-
an intuos2 a4 costs 415,-
an graphire doesn't have a4
I don't know anything below A4 seems small.

But first can anyone tell me hwat makes the wacom so expensive, it can't be only the brand. And does anyone know any good tablet review site, casue all I could find was a review that seemed more like it was written by someone of the trust marketing staff.

Batteries = bad.

Wacom tablets don't use batteries in their pens making them easier to move around and more versatile in their strokes.

I haven't looked at other kinds much, but Wacom tablets normally recognise more degrees of pressure when you push down on the pen. The pen's normally more well made and comfortable to hold. I guess these bump up the price.

Wacom Intouse2 tablets are awesome. They are on the expensive side though
Mine was around 350 dollars, but that's because I got a fairly large one, since I have larger strokes.

And try to get some more of the black tips for your stylus (I believe they are felt tips). I can't stand the feel of the standard white plastic ones. They feel too slippery. Only thing is that the felt ones wear out reletively fast. I need to get a new one.
