I'm doing abit of research for myself and hopefully (without any witty remarks :naughty: ) some HL2.net peeps could help out.

I want to know, what you look for in general gaming sites? Is it downloads, news, reviews, community? Would you download & read a gaming e-magazine? Or do you prefer websites with it all on?

Sites like Gamespot are succesful so is HL2.net, what factor do you like about these sites?

Thanks chumbs. :D

News, and forum (community). That's all I really need. That's all I use from hl2.net.

Less advertisements, nice layouts, quick loading, readily available information, easilly searchable, pictures/videos/demos easily/painlessly acquirable, and community.

lots of quick news, little blurbs, reviews, and GOOD downloads.

agreed with the vision. a great community makes or breaks a site imo, and thats why i joined this one...so many opinions, and so many fights aswell

Pr0n. Preferably gaming Pr0n.

Well, downloads and a good community would be good.

Don't forget Pr0n downloads.
