If she gets the VP spot (as in: McCain wins but leaves at some point in his administration), she'll be running the show. Has she done or otherwise demonstrated aptitude in this capacity? From what I've heard, not so much. Given our current electoral state, I think the VP's job is to make the presidential nominee look better to certain voting groups, and not much more beyond that. I do think she does this quite well.

Unfortunately that's what McCain is picking her for though, she's a female, so she'll get away with saying stupid shit more then the men will, plus she's attractive.
