What Expansions do you want to see?

A US soldier who fights against the invading combine, so a prequel to HL2 and a sequel to HL1, kinda like opfor except you help people instead of killing. Would be nice for the last level to be defend the white house, and ofcourse, you lose it.

But a perspective of a Combine soldier would be nice, the end of the game would be him dying by Gordon :O . I do recall, but not sure that there's probably gonna be an expansion based on Alyx(dur why not)but, I could be wrong(bad memory) i'll try to find the article if there is one, saying they were planning an expansion based on Alyx.

I want an expansion of a citizen of City 17 where it starts when everything is normal and then he must keep himself and his family alive while going through all the chaos.

I think it goes along with the atmosphere of H-L2.

A Combine expansion pack would be great, starting off as a lowly metrocop grunt, then furthering your career up and up until you get to be one of those soldiers in 3-inch thick armour, or maybe even a Strider driver

Well, since Valve was toying with the idea of making Striders an actual drivable vehicle to Gordon, I'd assume there'd have to be Combine drivers for them in the first place to contemplate this idea.

No, that was a misunderstanding by a magazine of an eMail from this very website in which VALVe guys said that they'd made the Strider controllable for their own amusement at one point...

Actually an "Oppsing Force 2" would work very well. I'd also like a game as alien, I mean truly alien. Where you're one of the so called "good guys", and you're misunderstood by the public, only understood by a few, etc. Just so cool.

I'd like to see a squad based resistance fighters game, where you're either Barney or John Conner

Id like to see something.....new! Something original, not the same expansions as the first game made better. for that, they are updating the old ones. I like the resistance idea but, for what Ive seen in the trailers seems In HL2 You(Gordon) are the resistance so....what's the point about it?
I want a G-man expansion!!!! lol

Although Strider - Combine combat would be fun to watch. All of a sudden the Citidel walls expand and crush the Strider with a loud THOMP!

i'd like to see Adrian Sheperd's return.. whether thats in HL2 or in a expansion is anyone's guess.

tho it would be interesting seeing Gordon and Adrian cross paths at some point in this HL series.. maybe an expansion pack where they meet up and fight together or fight against each other.. maybe even have it at the beginng of the game where u can pick who u want play as.

then when u complete it, go back and play as the other character.

I was thinking sort of a non resistence squad based expansion. You, your family (including 6 year old girl with a crowbar), and your 6 buddies of all race color and creed live in a slum inside city 17. When the combine comes to take you away, you break out the tiny stach of pistols and start killing your way out. (The whole apartment scene reminded me of the holocaust in a way) Eventually you are are transported to a ghetto or similar place, you could fight back using only rocks and the small amount of weapons you have, eventually amassing hundreds of citizens to get out of the city and into the countryside, commandeering helicopters and striders to strengthen your army as you go. (Squad: attacking)

I wonder if they'd have to implement some sort of visual filter for the literal viewpoint of a Vortigaunt... I get this feeling that they don't see in the same wavelengths that we do...

that'd be cool for an OP2 where Adrian and Gordon meet and they do a double-take since Adrian's mission was to kill freeman and gordon would be like wtf? since there aren't any other marine grunts dressed in HL1 style armor anymore.
