What has happened to the SDK.

Aaaargh... what the HELL has happened? directory structure change? Now I am so confused I really don't get it anymore.
Hammer won't start up anymore, whining about a missing gameinfo.txt...

what do I have to more to where? what are the folders used NOW by the SDK ? Damn this is annoying me. I think I am gonna delete all SDK content and place back my materials and maps in the new f****ing folders...

PS yes, it has been a while since I last opened Hammer....

meh I figured it out lol

soz for the SPAM.

****, the SDK rearranges directory structure itself! and if doesn't there's a button that tells it to do it!

did the sdk rearrange texture paths? Suddenly half the textures in my map are gray, and a few entities are 'obselete'.

I don't want to retexture all the grayness, is there a way to reassign the textures? (I doubt it :( )

If you figure out what texture path it's trying to load, or even if you can't, place the textures in your desired folder and then click Replace under the "Texture group:" box on the right side menu (default). In the dialogue box, just type the old path of the obsolete texture (should be there by default) in the Find box and in the Replace box type in the path to the texture you want to be applied to all the brushes and or faces that had the old texture. For example, if you had a brick texture in /mymap/brick that doesn't show up anymore, click the Replace button in the Texture group box and type in the new path of the texture in the Replace box, such as /mymap2/brick.

Hopefully that solves your problem. =)
