WHAT has happened during the absense of HL2 . NET forums! big news!

Here is what has been happening on IRC for the last 2 days.. its bad news for valve ..

1.) It is possible to load the HL2.exe now... via compiled source..

2.) Using the hl2 source it is now possible to actually load mini maps from hl2 and walk around no models and objects just textures...

3.) it is possible to play MP on the source!! yes u heard right mp on the source.. using simple commands while in game.. ur enemys are pink blobs though since there arent any models..

4.) People are already making new maps, models and objects for the hl2 source we have..


Basically a whole new game is being made with valve's source.. this sux for them big time
