My brain hurts now and I can't remember how I got here. What happened?

...................................................................................huh?

You need to learn a) what a mod is, b) not to capitalize every word, and c) that it takes more than ten minutes for people to be interested enough to post.

The gaming community is not very friendly towards kids so I suggest you leave before you experience... unforeseen consequences.

And his name is Gordon Freeman, not John. That alone will get you plenty of insults on here.

We do have a clause in place in the registering saying that you must be over 13 years old right?

Did I hear something about a mod that takes on the perspective of a Combine baby?

There's one in developement called Half-Life Short Stories: Human Error.

Honestly guys, you have to look at it this way. Someone who was born in 1999 or 2000 is interested in Half-Life and wants to explore the depths of its world even more.

This kid is 9! And he likes the games! He has an extremely great taste in games for an early age, and I don't expect nine-year-olds to understand proper internet etiquette. Lets not discourage him.

^

Totally.

I remember seeing a lot of posts about people complaining of the forums getting stale, no new members etc.

Everytime I come to this section in particular, and someone new, something everyone complains about the lack of, comes on and asks a question; everyone (Including me, sometimes. :/) suddenly acts like a full-of-themselves asshole to them.

When a majority of us first joined the forum, it took us a while, sometimes a long while, to adjust and "fit in" to whoever the **** approves us.

iirc, though, members have be at least 13 to sign up to these forums.

So I'll just stfu and go outdoors.

Holy shit, he probably was born in 2000. That makes my internet presence several years older than he is.

If I tell him to leave, it is mostly a warning for his sake, as many forum-goers will not be too tolerant, and only encourage the development of the "little-kid douchebag gamer n00b" stereotype.

As long as he can spell out coherent sentences, I'm fine. But yeah... I really had no idea what he was saying. At all.

Emp, that's a work of art.
We MIGHT welcome the people back...
If they're not 9 and have already hit puberty (we can't say that about DaBomb, yet, though, can we?)

posh, nine years of age and at hl2? I was playing doom and Duke Nukem 3D as a five year old.

I agree with the comic. Get out.

I said come in, don't stand there.

He's 9, so what?
I'm 14 and that doesn't bother anyone, does it? He's probably entirely new to this comunity and we have to go straight ahead and abuse him? I say we welcome him, although it might sound strange from a 14 year old, but yeah, no one gives a damn anyway..
P.S. About his inapropriate spelling - come on guys, that's normal for gods sake, he's 9!

I haven't really seen enough of you to judge you. Seeing as we are all behind user names, we have to act like every forum-goer is over 13, which is the age limit.
