Ok so when I am playing DOD or CS I lag out really hard for a second.. my ping shoots up and it says in red Warning:cl_flushentity or something like that....

Can anyone help me?

lol thats new to me ITS THE FLUSHING ENTITY FOR THE TOILETS lol jk i have never heard of that entity before

Its when you lag so badly that the game automatically removes the entities of the maps, all the characters, props, etc, until you get back into the game.

that sux!! i wonder how to fix it? i have cable.. and usually run 45 latency........

any suggestions?

It only appears when you are actually lagging, so if you are lagging all the time someone may be downloading or updating programs on the network, possible spyware/adware, just do a scan for all types and see if that comes up with anything first.

Yup. They completely "flush out" everything client-side, and then recreate it with the server data to make sure that they're properly synched. That's why, when it happens, ragdolls suddenly stand up and then flop back down.

This only happens every once in a while when I play.. I do regular scans for spyware now. I use a free one tho :naughty: anyone know any reallly good spyware/virus scan programs? :sniper:

Thanks everyone for the help...

Search for a program called Hitman Pro and download the latest version, completely free, scans with tons of software for spyware/adward/virus's all on its own, tis brilliant.

I tried this. But it just did this long process and took over my comp for me to scan with all these programs.. I'll just stick to the one I have now..

Thank you though...

It's meant to, it scans with some of the best software for everything, may take an hour or so but well worth it.
