what is Half Life:Chemical Existence?

in a gmes store in a catalog I see a game called Half Life:Chemical Existence
is about that one is not freeman,is a visitor in Black Mesa when the accident hapen
is a MOD?
a no oficial expansion?
or dont exist because when I ordened it,they tell me of are a problen whit the delivery or something like that and I cant buy it
so I hope get a answer, not a "what the heck this is a big idiot" also I am not from uited states and here in my country nobody know about the Mod,steam and all that stuff

I thought Chemical Exsistence was a mod...

Half Life : Chemical Existence was a Single Player Conversion (albeit a terrible one) It had some great ideas but was let down horribly by awfull Level Design, Bland Textures, low par Models and Animation.

It was a big let down. Considering it was in development for 2 (3?) years.

Also noted as the game that started the annpoying trend of mods having the word 'existence' in their titles for no apparent reason.

The story is... impressive:

"Chemical Existence puts you in the role of Reece Max whom simply is in the wrong place at the wrong time. He gets mixed up with fighting gangs, evil corporations and mutated creatures... "
