What do you think HL2 will get for tilt? (just do make this thread a couple posts longer to make me feel better)

Tilt is a geometrical term. It has to do with angles I think. In this case the angle in a diagram (or on a z/y axis) over the game's longevity/replayability or put simply, how long the game stays fun.

Well I'm quite certain tilt has to do with angles anyway :E

10! 10!! 10!!!

Its how much overal the reviewer enjoyed the game, so if the grpahics and sound arent amazing, but its still really fun to play it should get a high tilt to "tilit" the score towards what the reviwer thinks it should be.

I think in Gamespot's case, tilt is a final bonus that the reviewer can give to the game depending on how much he really likes it. If he thinks it's an excellent game but was let down in certain areas (sound, graphics or whatever) he can 'tilt' the review with 10 further marks.
