Gotta love the FPS. I love the quick thinking and the action. I can do slower games, but I just dont have patience alot of the time. But I like FPS with a more tactical feel than the run and gun sorta style.

I like shooting games (FPS'ers) b/c they let me release some stress and I have no patience with games like Deus Ex... WTF is that even about. I also like games such as Zelda and Jak, but they are only the best platformers of all time.

I would say that the majority of my games are First Person Shooters. However there is nothing more atmospheric and involving like a good Role Playing Game. For example, Final Fantasy VII is one of the best games i've ever played in my opinion due to the fact that you can play it over and over again without it getting boring, its so involving and the characters are so likeable.

However, im really a fan of most game genres. I like FPS's, RPG's, Strategy, Action/Adventure as well as Sports and Racing games.

I've been through many phases throughout my videogame filled life. When I was 7 I started to play Mario and Street Fighters, so I was mainly into platformers and fighting games. Tekken 2 then came out, me and my cousin would hit the arcade fighting games up like WOW! About 5th grade I finally played my first RPG- Final Fantasy 7, greatest thing ever i've experienced in video gaming. Starting from 8th grade I started to play the Medal of Honor series on the PSone, finally got it for PC. I got hooked because of the multiplayer and now FPS have gotten more realistic, so that is my most favorite as of now... so I vote FPS.

I almost always play fps mp. Ocasionally I pick up an rts or a space sim, but not lately.

I find it difficult to understand why you could say that FPS are better than MMORPGs. For one in all fps you do the same thing. After the first couple of days of admiring the glorious graphics of Doom3 or HL2 its still an ordinary shooter just with physics. All FPS are the same, you aim and shoot. Period.
