Aren't chips and crisps the same thing?

Laivasse said:Do any UK'ers here remember Brannigans? they RULED. They came in a packet that was almost like brown paper in texture, and afaik they were the first to come up with the Roast Beef and Mustard flavour. They were always quite hard to get hold of cos only a few shops stocked them, and even less shops stocked flavours other than RB+M, but there were some other really tasty ones. I was so sad when they finally vanished for good.
Sulkdodds said:What? You all call them 'chips' as well? Bastards!
JiMmEh said:AH YES!Brannigans, so nice, I was going to post them but I couldn't remember the name, I kept thinking Bennigans. The Roast Beef and Mustard ones were probably the best crisps ever. They sell some rip off versions (nearly as nice) at a snooker club near me.
