is there a way to find out the model number of my emachines computer?
The only thing that is still emachines is the motherboard and cpu, but I want to flash my bios, and the intel one that it says it uses isn't working. I wanted to do some research to find out if emachines has a specific bios.
For example, on the boot screen there is a emachines logo, so I think this computer uses a version of the intel bios that was modified by emachines.
basically, i need to find out the model number of my emachines PC, but I don't have any of the documentation anymore.
I was hoping I could find out through the operating system - for example - control panel - system...
but I don't see it.
EDIT - nevermind found it using
run... dxdiag
