When i was interning at universal i got introduced to a band called Critical Bill, Has anyone every heard of them? Every time i play Halflife2 I'm always bumping Critical Bill. You guys should check them out. I think they have a myspace at myspace/criticalbillmusic. They sound just like Linkin Park.
Check them out and let me know!:afro:

The sound of sweet success :D

Actually I just listen to whatever the game is playing.

wrong section? and how can you listen to music while playing vid games...

FPSs - NIN, has to be. Or Prodigy. Anything that makes you feel like god while smoking fools.

For everything else, there's mastercard..uhh i mean, NIN again. Their new album is awesome while playing any type of game.

I tend to play everything when playing WoW though, weirdly.

Depends. In HL2 the ingame music is perfect and so I don't listen over that. In Team fortress classic I listen to fast paced electronic music. In bioshock or some other fps I might listen to rock/metal. RTS's have their own music.

I don't listen to music when playing FPS. It detracts to much, and stops you hearing far to much of the game. Footsteps are impossible to hear when you have music playing.

I don't usually listen to music while gaming unless it's Peggle :p

Depends on the game, usually nothing... but sometimes a bit of prodigy, oasis or classical music.

I haven't listened to music while gaming for years. So... nothing :P

Usually I don't, but for slower paced games where music/sound doesn't really matter like Uplink, Civilization, or Medieval 2 Total War, I will. Especially Muse while playing Uplink.

Absolutely anything in my music folder. 360 to PC connection ftw.

Usually nothing, how am I supposed to hear stuff like footsteps in the game with additional music on? Sometimes I'll play some CS:S with music only to turn it off a few minutes later when I die partly because I didn't hear someone coming.

I generally listen to the in-game music if they have it. If it's really annoying, I'll usually have no music playing.

The only time I listen to custom playlists is when I play WoW, and there's nothing specific, really. My MP3 playlists, other game soundtracks, whatever.

I basically only play music when playing Trackmania. iTunes on random. Although I do race better with fast music.

hardcore rock, only in Need for Speed though, everything else I need my concentration.

I listen to the game's music. I only rarly play other music while playing, though I do have vague memories of playing the original GTA while listening to Robbie Williams.

Only times I've done this is playing CSS, and Venetian Snares seems to work best because it pumps me up.

I always listen to the game soundtrack. I would NEVER listen to music while playing Bioshock because it would ruin the immersion.

Games that are just pick-up and play like racing/fighting games (some FPSs, too) I'll play some music, but everything else, it just ruins the immersion, like how would it be hearing some Anthrax while playing a game like Half-Life 2?

Racing/Fighting/Some FPSs get the Metallica/SOAD/Iron Maiden, though (I don't listen to music while I play, but when I do it's good music!)

I don't always have music on, but when I do it's uaully just bring up iTunes, put shuffle on, and hit play.

Sounded a little promising up until I read that part.

Anyways, I usually listen to music when I play games like TFC, DoD, and Painkiller(but it already has a heart pumping soundtrack).

Other than that, everything else requires my full attention to be played properly.

Oh, the music I usually listen to is metal of course... Fear Factory, Pantera, Metallica, Falkenbach, etc.

I never listen to music while playing games. I sometimes turn off the music too and just leave the sound effects on.

I don't do it on 99.0% of all games i played.

Sometimes I do it on CSS....

Rarely listen to music while playing games, unless you count Freecell ;)
