what music software is best for gaming?

hey i was just wondering what music software is best when it comes to keeping frames per second up? currently i listen to itunes when i play counter-strike, but do you think theres something else i should be using? i thought winamp, but then i thought since im on a new laptop (3.0 mhz, 1 gb ram, 256 ati radeon) i didnt think it would make much of a difference...

Hmm, probably best trying all the major ones to see if they have an effect of FPS, if not then just go with the one that works best!

If it affects your fps then you've got other problems Winamp should be fine, though I think there's one called trayplayer or something that boasts a small memory footprint or something. It's really not an issue mate.

winamp 2.95, works perfectly and probably uses the least amount of memory of any mp3 player.

Get a soundcard that accelerates mp3 decoding, then get a program that supports it.
