Hmm.. Just a wild guess but this doesn't exactly look like a neighborhood surrounded by much foliage. (I definitely wouldnt mind seeing leaves fall off trees in the final game though.)

It looks like a remote controled helicopter.. I cant imagine why i doubt thats correct though. Perhaps its one of those sticks that old people use to grab things off of the top shelves... :: pictures and old lady falling down after it ::
