What ticket?

Okay, so I downloaded the Day of Defeat Torrent and used the steam_cs.exe to install... so I have HL, CS, and DoD all supposed to be working.

After going through hell and high water just to get the damn thing to even open, I finally did. So it's running, and I wanted to play DoD, and I double click on it.... first it just sits there forever, then it gives me this box that says my "Steam Ticket has expired" and to put in my password again and It just keeps giving my this with all of the games.

Now when I double clock on it it gave me the image (as attachment) below

Do you have admin rights on the account your installing with?

EDIT: After steam closed itself, now it wont open again

The message looks to be a generic crash (trying to access memory that doesn't belong to the application), so that's probably not to do with the ticket.

The ticket (AFAIK) is just your login - the beta version of Steam was *always* doing just that.
