A while ago someone posted a documentary on how farmers kill animals like cows, ducks, chickens etc...basically slaughtering...can someone post it again?

I need to prove someone wrong about somehting and from what I can remember about the video, it will make my friend STFU lol.

not really seeing as how they're well known .. also I'm a vegetarian AND my sister in law was a animal rights lawyer (I can hear the dim witted in our community snicker - yes animals need lawyers because who else would advocate legislation against cruelty? surely not the meat industry)

lol my idiot friend thinks that they shoot the animals or inject them with poison FIRST then slaughter them...i'll show him the videos later and he'll be horrified.

But watching these videos, sad to say doesn't really make me stray away from meat. I'm a huge meat lover, I just wish the animals didn't have to go through freaking torture to get on our plates.

hmm i dunno why i can't find that documentary...it wasn't only on slaughter houses it was about other types of animal cruelty...it's main message was basically bashing the human race because we're so violent and cruel or something like that...if i can only remember the thread title because I remember it was posted on here sometime last year.

Not that I have anything to offer to this conversation, but has anyone ever watched dog fights? Man its brutal watching two dogs tear into one another. One chewing out the other one's eyes and what not. After seeing those Im never watching one of these docs.:|

Videos don't do the actions any justice. Until you've seen an animal slowly and painfully die in person you've seen nothing.

I just wish the animals didn't have to go through freaking torture to get on our plates.

It's worse when that torture is accidental through someone's incompetence. I'm reminded of rocking up to a farm one day and having 400 dead animals because someone accidentally managed to turn the heaters off in the middle of winter.
